Ignacio Yarur has served as Chairman of Bci’s Board of Directors since January 2025.
He holds a law degree rom Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
Ignacio joined Bci in 2004 and has since worked across all areas of the bank’s business. Over his 19 years on the company’s management team, he has developed and led key financial business units, including Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, Private Banking, the MACH digital account, and the Data & Analytics division. He also gained experience at City National Bank of Florida.
His leadership has been defined by his drive for innovation, the implementation of new technologies, and the use of data analytics as key business drivers. Ignacio served on Bci’s Board of Directors from 2010 to 2011 and rejoined on January 1, 2024.
Additionally, he is aboard member of Fundación Enseña Chile, Fundación YA, Fundación Chile Mujeres, Fundación Lago Colico, MAS Analytics, Empresas Jordan, and Empresas Juan Yarur, among others.
Outside the banking sector, he has experience working at the law firm Carey y Cía. Ltda.
