MIAMI, FL – (August 29, 2024) – City National Bank of Florida (CNB) has launched a new office providing private and commercial banking services to clients in Palm Beach Gardens and the southern reaches of the Treasure Coast. The Palm Beach County expansion underscores CNB's continued growth in South Florida, where the bank has been cultivating relationships and serving the needs of businesses, professionals, families, and high net worth individuals for more than 75 years.

Now open at 5100 PGA Boulevard, CNB’s newest office will strengthen the $26 billion bank’s reach into Palm Beach and Martin counties, two of the fastest-growing counties in Florida. The office is in the PGA Commons retail plaza, situated along PGA Boulevard between I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike. CNB will occupy a 4,200 square foot space within the center.

The expansion of CNB into Palm Beach Gardens coincides with continued population growth in Palm Beach County, which welcomed nearly 30,000 new residents from 2020 through 2023, according to the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. The new office will focus on serving clients in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Tequesta, West Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Islands, complementing the reach of CNB’s existing banking centers in Delray Beach and Boca Raton.

“Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast are among the fastest-growing communities in Florida, so it’s fitting that we’re expanding our presence in the region. CNB’s new office in Palm Beach Gardens will position our team to serve existing clients as well as the influx of people and businesses putting down roots in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Our focus on relationship banking and local decision-making has been well-received in Palm Beach County over the years, and we’re eager to deepen our presence in the region,” CNB Vice Chairman and CEO Jorge Gonzalez said.

The Palm Beach Gardens office will offer personalized services in private banking, residential lending, commercial real estate, wealth management1, and corporate and commercial banking. The office will be led by David Albright, Market Executive for Palm Beach County and Luis Adarve, Senior Vice President and Director for City National Private.

CNB’s Palm Beach expansion aligns with the bank’s steady growth in key markets across Florida and increased presence beyond its home base of South Florida – into Orlando and Tampa. As part of its evolution as a statewide brand, CNB has forged partnerships with various entities, such as the NBA’s Orlando Magic, and supports more than 200 Florida-based nonprofits each year reflecting its dedication to supporting local initiatives and fostering community growth.
